Trenton Electroplating has always recognised the importance of first time quality for the automotive industry with it’s tight delivery schedules. In 1988 the company demonstrated it’s commitment to quality by being one of the first in the industry to become accredited to BS5750 and is now BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

Production control , quality control, and all aspects of delivery and invoicing are linked through a Computerised system that has been tailored to meet the requirements of Trenton Electroplating. Traceability is assured by use of a unique batch numbering system.

Through the company’s own chemists, all processing solutions are maintained to a high degree of consistency in accord with the operating parameters of the designers and manufacturers. The company has a close working relationship with it’s suppliers for both maintaining existing technology and  developing new products.

The company employs the most appropriate measuring and testing techniques including:- X-ray fluorescence, couloscope, permascopes, and it’s own laboratory for solution analysis  including a neutral salt spray test cabinet. The company also uses outside testing where appropriate.
